Journey: The Art and Legacy of Grant Halliburton

  • Center for BrainHealth United States (map)

Twenty years after Grant Halliburton’s work was first shared publicly, Journey: The Art and Legacy of Grant Halliburton returns to that beginning while revealing everything that has grown from it.

The exhibition brings together more than 50 of Grant’s original paintings, charcoal works, drawings and sketches, along with selections from his personal writings and poetry. A Listening Lounge features music he wrote and recorded with his high school bandmates.

Grant’s work invites visitors to see the world through his eyes, while the exhibition traces how his family and community transformed profound loss into a mission that has brought mental health education, resources and support to hundreds of thousands of North Texans.

Both a portrait and a reflection on legacy, Journey honors the creative life Grant lived, how Grant Halliburton Foundation’s story grew from it and the enduring hope carried forward in his name.

Journey is presented in partnership with Center for BrainHealth, part of The University of Texas at Dallas, and curated in collaboration with Business Council for the Arts.
