Women sharing support, resources, and encouragement on the journey with a teen or young adult with mental illness.
When it comes to the battle for a young person’s mental health and well-being, parents often feel they’re in the fight alone. Our Coffee Days peer support group wants to change that.
Coffee Days is a free monthly peer support group for mothers of young people with emotional or mental health challenges. Women often come into the group feeling frustrated and alone in the fight for the health of their child and leave feeling supported, encouraged, and armed with new information and resources for mental health.
Meetings are on the first Thursday, second Thursday, and third Saturday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at Grant Halliburton Foundation in the Barb Farmer Community Room. There is no fee to attend.
"Years ago, I recognized the need for a place—a free resource—where mothers struggling with a teen or young adult with mental health issues could find information, resources, encouragement and hope. So Coffee Days, a monthly peer-to-peer support group, was founded. I see moms coming to our gatherings desperate, fragile and afraid, and I see them leaving encouraged, stronger, and hopeful."

Coffee Days Celebrates 10 Years!
Grant Halliburton Foundation recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of Coffee Days. During the event, we renamed the Community Room where Coffee Days meets to the Barb Farmer Community Room, honoring the Coffee Days founder and longtime Foundation supporter. Check out photos from the event!
