An attendee steps up to the plate at Batbox during GHF YP’s Swing for Hope summer social in Addison, where young professionals gathered for an evening of connection, community, and support for mental health.
GHF YP knocked it out of the park last Thursday with a social event at Batbox in Addison.
More than 30 young professionals joined us for food, drinks and a few swings of the bat while connecting with others who care about supporting youth mental health in North Texas.
During the event, members of the YP Leadership Council welcomed new and returning attendees, shared a brief overview of the Foundation’s mission and previewed upcoming opportunities to get involved.
The council also highlighted its year-end membership initiative to raise $2,500 through 30 new YP memberships in honor of Grant Halliburton Foundation’s 20th anniversary. Each new membership will be matched by a donor through the end of the year, helping double the impact of every person who joins.
GHF YP brings together emerging leaders who want to build community, support the Foundation’s mission and help strengthen the mental health of young people and their families.
GHF YP hosts its next event, Connection Group, on July 28. To learn more or join GHF YP, visit GrantHalliburton.org/ghf-yp.
