Today was a good day. My husband let me sleep in a bit, and I snuck in a shower first thing. The kids put underwear on their heads, donned their finest Mardi Gras beads and butterfly wings, and attended a lavish party in my daughter’s room thrown by none other than Winnie the Pooh.

My best friend and I were featured as “best bromance.” Alec and I have been best friends since as long as I could remember. Alec and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same Jewish day school. We then went to the same preschool and stayed at the same school until we both graduated last summer.
